The Supreme's Benediction
Though his past he must assiduously unwind
The Mother to his inner call inclined,
Loosened the bonds and in his striving breast;
Granted the seeker momentary rest.
In that solemn hush from the endless rush
Released he found the path his soul must climb
And knew the fire that welcomed him
Ablaze on the welcoming shores of time.
He heard a music's pure intrinsic strain
Enter him again and yet again,
A wondrous strophe of unimagined bliss
Surprised his soul that thrilled with Godhead's kiss.
